Why is that TP? This has me interested as I'm seriously thinking of picking up a 5B and I'm sure I wont want the stock engine.
Check out videos on Taylor engines and that will answer your question. I'm guessing they would be the difference
from 2s to 8s if they were electric.
Taylor engine are far from my SSDI budget so a Taylor won't happen.

The Rovan Baja 5b is definitely a fun rig but far from a competition rig. In fact I've only seen one or two racing along side
a 5T. They just don't compete.
They built the 5b as a clone of the HPI Baja 5b for those guys that didn't know.
It is definitely fun out of the box and easily upgraded with tons of parts available.
For me personally it isn't a every day runner but is sure as hell impresses people driving
by the sand dune when I am running it. Several good comments have been yelled out drivers windows.
Get one guys, they are fun.
If you want one that is wheelie impressive then either get the 5b shorty or install the shorty kit.
I have the shorty kit on both of mine.
Honestly mine won't wheelie on demand so to speak because with the 30.5cc it needs a bit of persuasion.
A little bump lifts the front end quite well.
I haven't tuned my second 5b with the 36cc and the added shorty kit but I bet she want's to show her bottom side.;)

I thought you were saying youd buy the specific Taylor engine you mentioned instead of the twin cylinder one that was posted. I was asking why that one specifically over the twin cylinder but now I'm thinking I misunderstood what you were saying?

Oh ok, my bad, I misunderstood you. I wouldn't want the twin simply because even stock she is heavy.
