She is all finished, it's a much better air cleaner. With the old one, I had to Loctite it to keep it together
and I played hell getting it apart to oil the filter.

Most of you already know I have two Baja 5b rigs. One I custom built which is a really nice rig but so heavy it's a pain to mess with.
Here is my plan. My shorty Baja 5b has a 29cc engine and the custom has a 36cc engine.
I think I am going to buy a electric conversion kit and install it in the custom and get rid of some heavy aluminum and put the 36cc engine in my Baja shorty.
That should be fun. Getting rid of a bunch of aluminum, I don't think the motor and esc will heat up as bad as it would if I installed it now.

How are these in stock form? There’s One listed near me for a seemingly good price. I’ve always wanted a 1/5 gasser

They are surprisingly good quality right out of the box.
Ton of parts available however the rig you posted is a nice rig but you're not saving much because of the cost of shipping.
I would buy this one brand new with free shipping.
FearlessRC is the same outfit.
HPI baja 5b parts are interchangeable.

Either way, I recommend the shorty conversion kit, so much more fun.

I pay with credit card. I’ve never had to go as far as the credit card company, Aliexpress has always righted things for me

The only thing that concerns me is typically you have 60 days to ask for a charge back with most credit card purchases. That throws up a huge red flag for me with any seller on aliexpress saying it will take more than 60 days to deliver your item. Because even slow shipping from aliexpress usually arrives within 3 weeks or so for me. So if they don't ship your item within a week or so, I'd be requesting a refund. And by "ship your item" I mean, if you don't see movement of a package. They may say they shipped it tomorrow. But if it doesn't move, all they did was create a shipping label.

If he used paypal, I believe they allow up to 90 days.

I've never seen them priced so low. I'm not so sure I would have pulled the trigger.
Two months shipping time would definitely be a no for me.
