I did find the Himoto website....

http://www.himotoracing.com/index.php?main=faq

From their FAQ, it says you will need 12 AA's + a couple other things to be truely RTR. The caveat to this is it could be refering to the 1/10 scales. The parts list for the 1/16 scale nitro is not available. So, maybe it only requires 2 AAA's to run the electronics.....?????

I couldn't find any detailed photos of the buggy and the photos of the specs and box I couldn't save and zoom. Some of you comupter geeks (no offense, just referrring to my lack of skills) may be able to look at the site and get the necessary info.

Mr T

well, when you click on specs, then go to the picture with the parts needed, even though it is too small to really see, there are 8 of one type of battery and 4 of another. my guess is that you do need 4 AAA's, not just 2
