I did find the Himoto website....

From their FAQ, it says you will need 12 AA's + a couple other things to be truely RTR. The caveat to this is it could be refering to the 1/10 scales. The parts list for the 1/16 scale nitro is not available. So, maybe it only requires 2 AAA's to run the electronics.....?????
I couldn't find any detailed photos of the buggy and the photos of the specs and box I couldn't save and zoom. Some of you comupter geeks (no offense, just referrring to my lack of skills) may be able to look at the site and get the necessary info.
