can anyone tell me why i have my car idle and the tires are spinning but my remote doesn't work, it is on, they are brand new batteries in it, so now what? HELP

the idel speed it too high if you don't fix it soon then the clutch will wear. The way to fix it is lower the idel speed about 1/4 turn. As to your remote I would take it to the lhs and tell them to take a peak at it.
:duff:

i would check the reciever and transmitter both the radio and on the car itself and make sure the batteries are ok. for the tires spinning, how open is the throttle when it's just sitting there not on.

how would i do that .can i fix it .

let me ask you this if i turn the car and receier on should the front wheel turn when i turn the stering wheel.if the cars moter is not runing

Sounds like its a nitro and the wheels should turn even if the engine isn't running with both the reciever and radio on.

I tried to google this buggy but didn't find what I was looking for.

You mention 2 AAA's for the receiver pack. Are you sure it doesn't take four batteries?

Just a thought.

True True. you might be able to flip the battery pack over and it might take 4 like Mr. T-Maxx said. and if you could post a pic up of the vehicle that would maybe help a little so we would know what we are dealing with.

you should be able to stear when you turn the rx[reciever battery]on. There's a little screw on the side of the carb and turn it counterclockwise a 1/8 to 1/4 of a turm.

Hold on guys. You're getting him all confused. From the sounds of it, his issue has nothing to do with the engine. So all advice regarding his idle or engine in general is not necessary.
The issue seems to be that his radio isn't working. I'm with Mr T and others. Usually the receivers run on 4 batteries. So I'm guessing you have to put a couple more in there. Check that first.

ok man. There should be 4 AA's in the Stock reciever pack. Or you could have a rechargable hump pack. If it is the stock alkaline pack, put 4 AA's in it. If it is a hump pack, charge it. Your wheels and throttle(stick on the carburator of the engine) should still turn and move if the radio/reciever is on even know the engine is not on/running. Make sure that the radio is on and the batteries power are not low. If still having a problem, then it is possible that your crystals have crapped out..they are the metal looking things with the pins that stick ito your reciever/radio. Or it could be that your reciever could have gotten wet, or bumped around too much and has crapped out. Also, make sure that all the plugs that are in the reciever are infact plugged in all the way, because they could have possibly gotten popped out during rough riding/crashing. Hope this helps!
