Hey, there's a guy on another site I visit, who's wanting to upgrade his engine.. He's got a 1/10 monster truck (picture below) It's a Redcat Volcano S30 and it comes with a SH.18 (small block-side exhaust-slide carb).. He's wanting a good small block that'll give it some giddy-up-go.. Any recomendations? I dont think he wants to break the bank though, so keep that in mind.. Thanks!! Oh, here's the truck..

Thanks Olds!! I found out it actually is a "rotary" carb engine.. I'll pass along the suggestions!! Are these gonna have more power than the SH18 or just last longer or better built, etc.?? Thanks again!

It should make a little more power and tune real nice. It should at least last 4-5 gallons if it's broke in properly and never over-heated.

Well, the last OS CVR engine I bought (OS 15 CV-R(X)) lasted me 11 gallons... I ran it in a xxx-nt. When I sold the truck, the engine still ran like a top.

Not sure of the longevity of the OS18 CV-R though. It did have good power and held a tune like no other. I ran one for about a gallon a few years ago, then sold it because I sold the truck it was in.
