I think I need a slipper clutch for this E-Revo, but I’m having a hard time finding one. If I try taking off fast it makes a squealing noise, and can’t even pull a wheelie. If any of you could help me find one, that would be great, or if you think it’s something else please let me know.

Can we get some pics of the slipper assembly? and is this the Erevo 2.0?

It’s my first Traxxas. I’m not sure if it’s a 2.0 or not. I’m thinking it might be a 1.0. I haven’t started taking it apart yet, but here’s some pictures as it sits.

Try tightening that nut that's sticking out all the way tight, and let us know if it changes. Don't go super hard on it, because if that works it can break things cuz it won't slip under extreme acceleration like its supposed to.

I tightened up that nut some, and that seemed to take care of it. It promptly pulled a wheelie and doesn’t make that nasty noise anymore. Thanks a lot for your help.
You might want to polish the slipper pad with a microfiber and scuff the pads with sandpaper if it acts up. They might be glazed over from slipping. 🫡

If you sand the slipper pads dont eat the dust. UNLESS your really hungry.

There is asbestos in them older ones.
