I'm wanting to upgrade my Atlas axles and move the servo to the axle to remove the severe bump steer this thing has. Anyone know of any that are drop in, so I don't have to change the links out? I'm been searching everywhere but haven't found any that are listed for the Atlas. So far I'm leaning towards getting these and just see, worst case I have to play with link lengths

Swapping axles is a funny thing, look over really well both sets of axles. Sometimes the shocks don’t mount in the same position, same with the links. I wouldn’t go with aluminum axles either but that is my personal preference. Meus makes really good axles for 1/10 as well as SSD.

Why don't you like aluminum?
It gets all gouged up and doesn't slide over rocks as well as the nylon/plastic. Where did you buy the Atlas? I am wondering if Motion RC or Fair RC would have something for it.

Got it from a fms rep. They only have factory type replacements on fair rc and fms website. Looking I found these injora axles and a servo mount so thinking of going that route. Better selection of replacement parts too.
Thanks for the input

Looking at the Atlas axles, I couldn't quite tell if the shocks mounted with the links or without. Things like that are what you need to make work if they are different. Good luck and post back here when you get this all figured out.

Yes shocks mount with the links. I was looking and the links all mount in the same area so should be able to make it work. Now looking around I found these nylon meus portal axles and now I'm really considering going with the portals. With the current shock setup I have about 33mm of clearance between the top of the axle housing and the frame so shouldnt have clearance issues.

So, it mounts links and shocks in one.
Portals will change your final drive gear ratio which could make it faster, less slow crawl. I don't speak from personal experience on this platform though.
I swapped some scx24 axles for some FMS fcx24 portals and it made the scx a little screamer for example.

Well, I went with the straight aluminum axles. I'm pretty impressed with the quality so far. Factory links could work if used in different positions but the articulation binded because the upper link mounts are closer together than factory, so new links it was. Just got them mounted up and super happy
