Thanks Jeff. I can't believe you're getting that good of fuel mileage. I can barely make it to 4 minutes on my setup. As far as the time I run.. Yeah, I tend to run later on Sunday after the kids are down and I get bored with t.v. Next season will be "one and done" so there won't be any check-backing to compare times. We'll all get one real shot at it. That's more fair anyways I figure.
I do have to say that I'm very very impressed by the level of competition right now in our club. Everybody is pretty darn close and Joe is picking this up like riding a bicycle. It has gotten me thinking about my concept for next season and how to keep honest competition alive while also bringing slower fellas within reasonable reach of their closest competition. I think if I round the handicap time up (or down) to the nearest tenth of a second (I'll have to fiddle with the actual amount, hundreth, tenth, quarter etc. over the winter) that will nearly eliminate the handicap alltogether when the real times get close. Just a thought.
