I remember when Spektrum motor first came in Arrma's, they were dying like flies. I have avoided them ever since.

I felt the same way. I heard its a bearing problem and is easily fixed with a new set of ceramic bearings. Never actually did that upgrade though.
I bought a couple cheap spektrum motors on jennysrc.com and one in my Granite.
So far all my Spektrum motors are working fine.

You guys are awesome! Breydon said the Dude wipes are wicked, and he saw them on Shark Tank or something. I'm chomping on a fist full of some awesome burnt peanuts, and Breydon said give him a bit and he will model the briefs for you perverts. They damn sure won't fit me. Thank GOD!

You guys are way too kind. It may not seem like much to some people, but building a high end Tekno with my favorite Tekin stuff is like my holy grail. My Bugatti Veyron. Something I ALWAYS felt would be something that would remain on the back burner while I tinkered with my SCX24's and cheaply acquired resto mod builds. I had every intention of living on crumbs next month to buy this Tekin stuff, but you guys made it happen. So thank you guys!

I'm so excited to get this built, and I have been working on it. But I want to wait until I get the screw kit I ordered for the Tekno in before I go any farther. The Tekno screws look nice, but I can definitely feel better engagement on my hex drivers with the Tony's screws that I do have. So as soon as they are here the build thread can go up.

Yet another package. Titanium turnbuckle And Littlemotor sent me the shocks I bought off of him.

It seems @Littlemotor tried to decorate EVERY side of the box, and this was the only one I could reveal after removing stickers that some sensitive bastid at UPS covered the artwork up with.

I'm STILL waiting on my Tony's Screws order for both my kits so I can finally get back to wrenching. I ordered them last Friday. Shipped a week later

I'm going to go ahead and start up the two SCT build threads after I post this. I'm tired of keeping you awesome folks in the dark. And with these links, I guess I am going to break habit and tear into bags further into the build and grab the link ends to get these links together.

Thank you, everyone involved in this awesome feat of generosity. You've given me something I won't ever forget, along with a renewed interest in the hobby that is stronger than ever. My joints have never been in so much pain from working at my bench, and I love it

There's no 'kit' for an Optima Mid so I guess I need to contact him.
I'll bet he's just busy but I don't want to wait a week for an answer that won't be coming either.
Its the last thing on the current shopping list... getting screwed I mean.

I won't be ordering from him again based on this latest experience. It was a huge order to boot, and I am still here waiting. But yeah, his communication skills are a bit lacking, and full of fluff.

You can find 12.9 grade screws all over the www.
https://monsterbolts.com/ will be getting my business from now on, but I buy in bulk typically. I have bought their screws in the past and have zero complaints with them.
