Onto the kit, I was going to tuck it away til I order the electronics in a few weeks, but I couldn't wait. And as has been mentioned - I haven't seen a better manual. I pulled the first bag out and opened Bag A and built the center diff. It's pretty darned unbelievable how much better this Tekno stuff is compared to other kits I've built. It looks like this center diff, albeit a plastic gear, would be more than enough for a 5th scale. Everything from the outdrives, the precision ground sun gears, to the way the screws feel going into the diff housing is just amazing

I've been letting Google auto control them and it's been getting out of hand. I just turned them off for everyone at the moment. I built it with the included shims. The diff feels ever so slightly on the snug side, but smooth. I'm sure everything will wear in perfectly fine. I'll likely tear the diffs down after it gets some run time and check on things, and fill with fresh fluid.

I'm going to build it as is, with the included option parts. Next month, if I have to live on ramen all month, I don't care. I will be going all Tekin, or maybe a NitroPro servo just to try them out. But I am not sure other than that. I'm never in a hurry on any of my builds, but this one is different. It's like the holy grail of RC's for a poor slug like me, so I really want to get this one done, and get it done well.

Yeah, that's one of the things in my cart on Amain. It's been on the back burner because I found a site with obsolete XXX-SCT parts for the Losi. They have like one left of everything, so I've been slowly buying them up before they are gone. I have everything I need for it now I believe, plus a few rare aluminum hopups. So that Amain order WAS next on my list until this beast showed up.

This is my RC home. I'm not much for brand specific sites. But this one, AF, and the Tekno forum is like one big community. I've not posted on the Tekno forum, but I check on it from time to time. It would be fun to drag some of the uber nerdy Tekno guys there.
