From what i've read the biggest engine that these can take is a 15 size engine ... I want something that will smoke a HPI 18SS ...

What engines would you recommend?

Is it possible to get this baby over 100k/s (60mph) with a 15 size engine?

Its hard to find help on this car ... any help is appretiated ...

Hamza ...

The R40 can take any small block engine so even the OS 18TZ will drop in with no modifications. As far as engines that I have seen in the R40, most are nova based italian engines. Every once in a while, a Picco will be in them ... all running .12's since that's the regulation here for racing according to ROAR.

Since you're just looking to run that thing in the park and want to "smoke" the 18SS, drop the OS 18tz in there and call it a day. Amazing power and torque. Reaching 60 mph is possible but again, that will need proper gearing. Things that will determine your speed is tire size, gearing (pinion/spur, pulley size and tire diameter). All this needs to coincide with proper body as well.

I used to run the sirio evo .12 in my R40 before I sold it. With stock gearing it was a bullet! Too much engine and car for a parking lot basher IMO.

Are you trying to smoke him in a drag race or on a race course? Just up your driving skills and you can smoke him regardless of what engine he is running.

Diver, Thanks Mate, Exactly What I Needed To Know ...

I Think The Os 18tz It Is ... That Thing Looks Awesome ...
