Does that include your parents?

good chance....i know alot of parents that BUY the beer for their kids under the condition that the kids stay home to drink it...kinda effed up idea imo but i guess i can see the idea behind it...

My Dad's only rule was not to drink the last beer or the last of the Crown Royal when I was a teenager. That and he said i'll only get you out of jail once....funny thing is I never went to jail until I was 24! First and last trip to jail form me. lol My father was no drunk nor would he have allowed me to be for the record. He taught me moderation at a good age IMO. When I went to the Military that went out the window....damn near drank myself to death. Young, dumb and full of.......
These days a beer or three here and there, that's about it. Too old for hangovers!

You are 13, what both you and your father are doing is illegal, at least in the US it is. It's called jeopardizing the welfare of a child, or contributing to the delinquincy of a minor. Any father who allows his 13 year old son to drink alcohol has some serious problems. If you are both using the excuse, and that's all it is an excuse, that it's to teach you moderation, that is a complete farce! There are much better and legal ways of doing that. If you think you are being cool drinking at 13, we'll see how cool you think it is whenever you get together with your group and start off by saying "Hi, I'm mgt, and I'm an alcoholic"

I was going to keep my opinion about it to myself, but since it was started: It has been proven that alcohol inhibits brain function. At a young age, when the mind/body is begining to develop into adulthood, alcohol is inhibiting the growth of brain function as well as bodily function. I am a firm believer that that is the main reason that the youth of today is so mentaly incapable. Drugs and alcohol. This is not the cop in me, it is the person in me saying this. I have an 18 year old sister who has been drinking with her friends for a few years now, and i have seen her "habits" develop into a serious problem. Screw all of that moderation crap, its called self control. Learn it first, then learn moderation.

like i said i have only had one of two whenever i have and that has only been 2 or 3 times so i don't think it is that bad...its not like i'm addicted to it or i'm constantly drinking to the point is doing anything with my life....i have never gotten DRUNK and i don't care if i have it or not...and i don't think people should be calling me a ALCOHOLIC for it...but i ain't here to argue with anybody so what ever..i don't want to fight with any body or get on any bodies bad side

hey bud, no hard feelings. you have to understand there is alot of adults on here. we dont know you or anything about you, but we are human and we care. lots of kids drink for many diffrent reasons. nobody's harp'in you and your most likly a good kid.. but we all have stories. heres mine... i went to a party when i was 15.. had 2 beers.. i left that party when i was 28.. I'm just know figuring out how to really live. i spent 3 years in prison for 2 BEERS..

I'm just about 16. It's legal as long as i'm not in public.

As long as i'm NOT in public and am accompanied by a parent guardian it's alright. Same as underage driving on your own property.

Under age Drinking is a little different then driving around on your own private property, and I am pretty sure that your parents could get in a lot of trouble if the Police new that your parents were letting you drink under age wether it is on your own property or not, it does not make it leagal.

OMG this is dumb. "Hey honey, lets but whiskey in the babys bottle. Its ok, we're hidden in our own home, its legal"

Its illegal for a reason, so quit making excuses to it not being.

its ok to do about anything if you accompanied by an adult, meth, weed, beer, it all good...

"Daddy look what mommie got me for my 12th birthday, 'My First Meth LAB'!!!! But she said you have to watch me cook my first batch."

Kinda sounds stupid dont it? Well thats about what it sounds like.
