Finished up this Losi NASCAR I’m thinking I may swap the mamba micro x2 out for a mamba x 6s esc. I have plenty of space to put it (stock battery tray). Will either sell the X2 or save it for another build of some sort!

Mine did the same. I made little 'bushings' for the steering rack pivot pins and got rid of most of it.
Awesome. I may have to do the same. I want to dig into mine one of these days to clean and re-lube the diffs...I'll have to see about doing something similar. I'd much rather DIY it and keep it eligible to race in the stock class in my local parking lot races.

She's gonna be a ripper!

Is that the exotek bellcrank? Did that plus the saver take all the slop out of the steering? Mine wanders so bad it drives me crazy.
It is the exotek bellcrank. I can honestly say, it’s removed almost all slop👍

I may have to try the exotek parts. I used their center driveshaft but used the furitek aluminum set that came with the complete steering rack. The pivot pins on the rack are a bit smaller than the existing holes in the chassis plastic. Those holes are what I shimmed.
