🤷🏻‍♂️🤣

A "classic"...wasn't the B84 launched earlier this year?
I have a soft spot for Associated, but they have run out of ideas

But they’re obviously identical….

I got nuthin’… 🙄🤷🏻‍♂️🤣

Next week's release
RC10 Heritage Classic Santa Sleigh with Rudolph mini figure! (Rudolph's nose is orange in this one. Limited edition!!!)
At least that would be original🤣

The annodizing looks orange to me, not gold. Is anyone else getting that or is it my phone?
If they want OG AE colors, cool.
If they are using orange and calling it classic... I'm out.

I was just on AE site.

The MT12 is on sale and looks fun.

The prices on everything else are too high for me.

I think the “classic” terminology in this case is more so in its aesthetic, not in a literal sense.

Personally, I think it looks sweet… with that being said though, I’m not gonna buy it. 🤣

Its kind of funny that a company who has discontinued parts on pretty much every model they produce now is out riding this vintage wave.

The ONLY reason the vintage RC10's are still popular is because they ran for as long as they did back then.
Itbwas solid performace at a reasonable price with AWESOME parts support from AE AND aftermarket!!!

How popular would the RC10 be if it was only produced for 3 years and parts dried up after 5?
What if it cost $500 and no one bothered with manufacturing hop ups for it?
No MIP or RPM...

Seems like I'm missing something when I look at the current business model and planned obsolescence of new releases.
These are the new 'classics' that no one will remember as anything more than a couple digits... B6.3, right! 🤔🤷‍♀️

I wonder how many of these anniversary edition cars will have parts avail until the next anniversary.

Maybe the RC10 classic will be discontinued by then and they will try to do the same thing with the B2 and 3 next???

"Because the collectors want it"
I highly doubt so

I'm a vintage team associated collector...key word. Vintage.
I have zero interest in ANY of these rip offs.
To be honest.. the are really making me hate them with this bull crap.

Nobody likes it. Stop it already....

I would be sad if everything Kyosho made was called Optima Mid... or The... Inferno.
I think there is a time and place for retro, classic and for revisiting them.
If classic becomes maistream, its sort of not classic any more by definition. 🤷‍♀️

I like the RC10. I like its colors too.

I think its a shame to turn a proud racing heritage into a money grab.

I think 1 or 2 RC10 'classic' releases every year would have made WAY more money, turned each car into a 'collector' type piece...

Kyosho did/does this with their legends cars. Notice, they arent all red and white too. 🤣🤷‍♀️

I am not sick of ANY of Kyosho's old cars. I still love them and I'd buy more today still with some faith that I can still get parts for years to come.

AE's marketing, maybe driven by boardroom greed, has missed the mark.
Maybe this is working for AE overseas? I hear the vintage market is still very strong. 🤷‍♀️

The white and gold meant its GOING to perform on a track... it BELONGS on a track. I am not sure I still feel that way now.
