I would be sad if everything Kyosho made was called Optima Mid... or The... Inferno.
I think there is a time and place for retro, classic and for revisiting them.
If classic becomes maistream, its sort of not classic any more by definition.
I like the RC10. I like its colors too.
I think its a shame to turn a proud racing heritage into a money grab.
I think 1 or 2 RC10 'classic' releases every year would have made WAY more money, turned each car into a 'collector' type piece...
Kyosho did/does this with their legends cars. Notice, they arent all red and white too.

I am not sick of ANY of Kyosho's old cars. I still love them and I'd buy more today still with some faith that I can still get parts for years to come.
AE's marketing, maybe driven by boardroom greed, has missed the mark.
Maybe this is working for AE overseas? I hear the vintage market is still very strong.
The white and gold meant its GOING to perform on a track... it BELONGS on a track. I am not sure I still feel that way now.
