Looks great Ed. My kind of floor, since I hate wall to wall carpet.

What wood is that? It looks like oak, only a couple of shades to light.

WOW!
That made a huge difference!
Looks good Ed. Congratulations

That looks really slick; it adds a lot of class to the place. More than that flashing neon light on the wall (jokin).

I'm with you on running the 1/18th all day long. I'm not sure what got into my wife, she has some kind if idea that she wants to sleep in there with furniture and poop. Women! Jeez.....

Ahhh, that pillow is looking at me.

The contractor is coming in on Monday to estimate the costs for repairing a little water damage from the leaky shower door and installing the new shower diverter valve as well as building a hot mop shower pan for the tile guy. They are also coming on Monday to deliver the rest of the wood for the flooring.

Wednesday they will install the wood in the guest bathroom and finish the hallway. The construction needs to be done in the master bath before they can install the flooring so we are on hold after Wednesday until the contractor can do his thing.

We went and looked at vanities for the guest bath and was blown away by the prices of quality units. I'm going to strip down the unit we have now and paint it. I enjoy that kind of work and have all the proper tools so it shouldn't be to bad.

The only unknowns at this point are the tile and design and lighting for the master bath and paint selection. This poop ads up fast. Its costing more then I expected even with shopping around. Once you get into it its easy to want to do more while its all torn apart. I figure I might as well get it done now and enjoy it rather then making several projects out of it and never getting it finished.

WOW Ed, that looks REALLY GOOD! When they ask for their cash, ask them to show you their immigration info, then watch how fast they run. :D:D:D lol jk

wow eddie that looks really good. my house is also getting som thing done. we are getting the bathroom and kitchen redone. i have the same flooring in my house. its ok for 1/18 but it has to be spotless and whatever your running has good tires. i run my 18b on my floor and i just powerslide when i dont sweep.

if you wife gets worried about you driving on the new floor tell her it wont scrach it at all.

They just got here. Jose, Jose, Pedro, and Jose
Is that Espanol for Larry, Daryl and Daryl with an extra Daryl? Looks good man! We just got back from a few days at my in-laws and my wife is on my ass about moving, fortunately not there, just cause they have about 6 acres where they are and in addition to the changes with the house, we're both sick of neighbors.

If youve never experienced using nothing but a hole with kinda foot slots to know where your supposed to be to position yourself I gotta tell ya, even an outhouse is a luxury after that. At least they usually have some sort of bench seat.

Once when I was new to the ole squat over a hole routine, I was just figuring out how to do it when low and behold some great looking chick walks in and effortlessly squats and dumps with grace directly across from and facing me. She never batted an eye.

Have to tell you, Its stage fright X10, I just stood up, zipped and walked out. Nothing was going to get done after seeing that.
