We are starting with Having hardwood floors installed in the Master Bedroom and hallway. (650 SF) We are using the same Bruce Hardwood that we used in our downstairs.

After this is done we are getting the same wood on the floor in the master bath (140 SF) along with all new tile around the bath and rebuilding the walk in shower shower stall. (110 SF) After that a new vanity and counter top in the master bath as well.

Ill be out of money somewhere in between the tile and vanity.
:D

Ill post some pics as the day goes on.

The day is off to a good start. The floor installers are an hour late. :whip:

Looking forward to seeing some progress pics. We are also planning our master bath remodel this summer, I hope I can steal some ideas from you.

Are you putting hard wood flooring in the actual bathroom? and tile?My cousin just put wood flooring in his bath and the moisture actually destroyed the flooring

They just got here. Jose, Jose, Pedro, and Jose are quick workers.
In the bathroon, the wood is going up to about 12 inches from the bath and shower. There will be tile design on the floor butting up to the wood.

Here are a few before shots. The camera doesn't truly show the large size of the rooms.

Just to see the size of the room the TV is a 60 inch unit.

Nice!!
I'm glad for you.
Get rid of that cat!
Yuck.

Holly mother F*&^*r!!!
There is an uneven spot in the floor and they have this huge plainer that evens it out. It sounds like the entire house is vibrating.

I had to kick the wife out of the house. Shes running around with a broom and a dust pan trying to clean as they are doing all this. Jose, Jose, Pedro, and Jose are just shaking their heads. LMFAO!

Is there a Juan in this crew?

I have seen something like this at my cousins house. Its damn huge like a big ass mower only hella loud.

These guys are quick. They have been here for 2 hours and have all the carpet, pad, baseboards, staples and nails removed. I'm also amazed at the quality of their work **So far.

Ed have one of your buddies come into the house and yell "La Migra" You'll see how fast they really move!

Ill do that when they are nailing up the last base board and its payment time. Interesting, I haven't given them a penny yet. No deposit, NOTHING!

Let me guess, the cat food and water bowls are upstairs because you now have a dog. Did the same thing here when we got the Golden. And who is claiming the rights to that stain in the hallway? Cat or dog?

Can't wait to see the result. I still want to do the den, stairs, upstairs hallway and loft.

Gave up on shampooing the carpet about a month ago once we decided to do the floor. I own the stain you see. I tripped over the dog with a cup of Jo in my hand the other day. I just said f*&c it and kept going. Wife was pissed that I didn't even attempt to do anything. She got over it.

I'm pretty sure its Ed's stain.

Well Ed posted while I was typing. It was supposed to be funny! Thanks for ruining it Ed!

The big joke is on me today.
They ran into 2 boxes of bad wood. The manufacturer mis labeled the boxs and its the wrong color. I will have to hang till next Wednesday till they can get it here. I will have an 80% hall way and none in the little bathroom.

I'm not to pissed, what can I say?

Thats going to look great! I love hardwood floors especially in a nice size room. Can't wait to see some pics when it's finish.

Got the bedroom done and half the hallway. The wood will be in on Wednesday and they will finish the hall and 2 bathrooms.

A few more pics.
