Why doesn’t hubbs already have a crawler?

He would never get one for himself; I'd definitely have to get it for him. He probably would say it was an excuse for me to buy another crawler.

I wish it was 1/18 scale..but I think he'd like the FMS FCX24M Land rover. It's got a similar body style to the 1:1 L322 Rover which he likes. Ok lus it has the 2 speed transmission.

Or, he'd probably enjoy the Redcat truck. He likes green.

I know I know...trust me I'd take a couple more if I didn't have so many dang hobbies already taking up space. I already have 5 on shelves. I think hubby would use the 1/18 more than a 1/10. Right now, family time with the RCs is driving the small ones through the house, while the doggo goes crazy

Is he blind? I mean its orange. Tge only car that stands out more is the police car.

I just wanna circle back that this all started with an extra set of wheels/tires (as it always does in RC)....and somehow the yellow brick road lead me to another Redcat.

I think I can make a 1" tire work. I just need a little wider tire so it'll sit center on the rim. So I took a gamble today; I found the widest tires I could at my LHS...and it mounted up pretty easily!

This is no good, as tire is too narrow for rim:

I think this will work! I'll get the rest of the screws in after dinner.
It's nice when a modification goes right in RC!

It's the small wins in RC that keep me interested in mods .

You could always cut the 1" tires. That's what I did for my daughter's build. I had to have big rims on it, but really like the scale look of 60ish and under mm height. Size compared to axial gladiator body.

I'm running 1.3 wheels on by Basecamp with 1.0 55MM tires. I really like it

I did have to trim the fenders a bit though
