As the title says..

Looking for some advice about servo winch's.
What do I need to look for in specs, what power do I need (kg's) any recommendations.?
I'm not comp crawling or anything like that just fancy being able to pull my truck up and out of trouble and have some fun.

This is the servo I was looking at https://www.agfrc.com/index.php?id=2545 I have plenty of AGF servos and can't fault them so far (I'm 100% sure REEF's are rebranded AGF's)

Don't really want to spend a fortune on one tbh, but if that's what it calls for, so be it.. 😂

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.. :thumbs-up:

The winches I have are nothing more than show no go.
I've never used one and doubt I ever would. It would be a different
story if I were crawling in a competition but I don't ever see that happening.

I built one years ago from an old Hi Tec servo I had laying around, and used a HeyOK Performance controller. Can't remember the servo model, but it will dead lift my Wraith straight off the ground, but slowly.

Here's Al's page, he makes good stuff. And has a pre-built winch setup if interested.
