I was right, the VP 12mm stepped down hexes will only let the wheel engage about 2.5/3mm just up to the set screw. So I ordered Gmade aluminum 12mm wheel hexes "8mm" after figuring out what offset I needed. My rubber should be here tomorrow too.

I painted the wheels black on the inside and dessert sand on the outside so when you look through the holes in the face plate the dessert sand matches the body. Now I have a set of each Hyrax with predator and Krawler T/A KX with G8.

While I was waiting for my Kydex and hardware to show up, I made a templet out of light cardboard for the bedcover. I could have just made my own holes even instead of using the stock holes but I didn't. I'll add two more holes spaced evenly with the stock holes. I may do that for my straight axle, we'll see. Just finished test fitting it with the stock holes, I have a little sanding to do on the outer edges, maybe a little angle and I left it a little long not knowing how the tailgate will end up.

Almost finished, have a VP tailgate handle coming from RC4WD. I was going to make it a working tail gate but I'm sure a few roll overs would probably have destroyed it. Then I'll finish up the bed cover too.

Before I close up the bed here's a pic of the inside. After I finish the bed I will install this KINGTECH K-30TPG4+ turbine I had laying around to the bed cover. I also have a folding swing wing from Skunk Works coming I'll mount that to the cab. I also found a body (cab) for my custom flatbed a Pro-Line 1966 Chevrolet C-10 12.3"

Nice, I'm going to use it on my spaceship and go back to my home planet. :greyalien: There used for rc jets.
Take me with you and a couple dogs and cats. The people here just suck. Truck is looking awesome. Don't see many Proline 66 "K10" running around.

I had to black out my gmade inners also. It makes a world of difference l.

Thanks, I've never seen a "66" C-10 in the RC world, but I haven't been here long. I came from my home planet a couple years ago.

Looking for stock wheels for 1966 Chevy C-10. These are the stock wheels. So far I've narrowed it down to these two. Gmade 1.9 SR03 beadlock wheels or Landies Internal Beadlock Wheels. The Landies look closer to stock but are only five lug, stock C-10 wheels are six lug. Regardless of what wheels are used I will use nuts on the studs for a stock look. Depending on what wheels are used I might have to use set screws for studs so I can use the nuts. If anyone knows of a better choice let me know. Also let me know which ones you like better.

Those might just fit the bill. I wanted white and could paint them but the gun metal would look good too. I could also go with two rear sets as I learned from your build that I didn't realize is that the C-10 is rear wheel drive. :thumbs-up: Thank you.
