Hello,

This is in reference to the FMS 1:7 Ford Bronco.

This is my first rig with dual battery capabilities. So, I just want to confirm that when using (2) 2S batteries, I just go ahead and plug them into the EC5 connectors to the ESC? Asking because one is black/red and the other is red/red.

And, what should I do to properly use a single 4 or 6S battery? Do I use an EC5 loop connector?

Did you check the manuals or anything? Thats always good to check. From what I can see thats a built in series connection so it combines the dual 2s batteries into essentially 1 4s battery. If you were to use only 1 4s I believe you either just plug into one port or use a battery jumper on the one with nothing in there. Also welcome into RCT!

Single battery requires you use a loop connector on the one with the two red wires, battery connected to red/black side.

Like this one that comes on the Spektrum 150A

Simple answer - if that rig is 4s capable - yes. That is a series connector on your ESC. Plugging two 2s batteries into those connectors will be just like running a 4s battery.

Instructions didn’t get that detailed as for as order and no mention of a loop connector, which I tried and works properly. I’m troubleshooting some battery issues at the same time and wanted to rule out any potential connection issues. Sounds like I’m doing things right. Appreciate the confirmation.
