That is a good point, but for someone who only raced carpet/turf or only dirt/clay a car specifically designed for that running surface can be a help.meh. just an updated 22, not impressed. and its over priced. it's ugly. i hate the front wings they're running on buggies now.
and its really starting to annoy me that manufactures make a carpet/turf car and a dirt/clay car. 20 years ago every car was a Swiss army knife, today everything's a scalpel. to restricting.
It's a brand new car from the ground up. Rear Hub carriers and bearings are some of the only compatible parts. New 2.6 gear ratio, all new front and rear ends.. c and d blocks that connect to the transmission assembly. Completely different car if you look at it.meh. just an updated 22, not impressed. and its over priced. it's ugly. i hate the front wings they're running on buggies now.

i did look, even watched like a 40 minute video on it. at first glance it looked like any other 22 iv never really paid attention to. it reminds me of the RC10B2 to RC10B3 transition. I'm not impressed. its over priced, overly complicated, ugly. motors in the wrong place, can't fit a stick pack. i genuinely don't care about this thing. RC racing has gotten stupid and this car and the tracks its made for are the representation of why. It's a brand new car from the ground up. Fair enough, to each their own. I recently started racing again on an indoor offload clay track and am excited about a new car after 6+ years! I paid my dues in the early 90s with Rc10 team car and Jrx T/Pro SE. I like the "modern" changes to mid motor, LIHV batteries and brushless motors: it helps to hide my questionable driving. I love that motor comment. Yes, I'll admit it was hard to watch the JConcepts INS this past weekend. I THINK it was still considered "off-road" racing.i did look, even watched like a 40 minute video on it. at first glance it looked like any other 22 iv never really paid attention to. it reminds me of the RC10B2 to RC10B3 transition. looks like TC racing with a couple speed bumps.
And it's been like that for 1/10 for a pretty long time now. There really isn't a lot of true old school dirt tracks for 1/10 out there anymore. If you want that experience most people would say go 1/8. But still in 1/8 most tracks are still being prepped for tons of traction and being smoothThat's what off-road is now.![]()
Dang. That thing looks zippy.
most touring cars doDang. That thing looks zippy.
You could put a rally car body on it and it'd still be able to do the track.most touring cars do
If I was flippin'/scrollin' by that video real fast, I would've thought it was a slot car track.looks like TC racing with a couple speed bumps.
