I am new to nitro rc really want to get in, I have done days of research, and so far Mt2 3.0 is were I am leaning to, the Jato to fast and two wheel drive, any other opinions welcome.
Also is there any new inside scoop of any new releases of 09' mt or st, should I hold out.
Mt2 3.0 is the right price range good brand Hpi I heard Nuckels can break but I'm sure the web has upgrades to work with, thats part of the fun right.
I looked at them all guys xxx-nt,firestorm, mgt 3.0, rustler.
Well besides you convincing me either way, I need to convince my wife to let me get a toy.:)

There's a lot of fun monster trucks out there. You need to do some research and decide if you want a nitro or electric one. Nitro trucks are fun but very noizy and they take some time to learn how to keep running good. Electric ones have come a long way in the last few years. They can be made to go a lot faster than nitros and ones like the new Traxxas Summit are waterproof!
As for convicing the wife....Good luck !

I suggest a HPI Savage. Only about $90 more than the MT2. I'm not saying the MT2 is a bad truck at all. I'm just saying, if I would get another monster truck, I would get the savage.

Don't forget, they make a nice E-Savage too.
