I already have like 24 batteries do I really need more 🤣

We have a recent discussion on some storage methods for batteries here:

I really hope you're not placing all 24 batteries together, if 1 pack fails and catches on fire, it will create a massive chain reaction that can be devastating with 2 dozen packs all at once :(

I would encourage you to regularly inspect the IR on your cells and discard any questionable packs, more info here:

I personally only maintain 1 battery per car at a time to minimize expense and risk of fire by discarding aged packs :)

Absolutely! 🤣

I store all mine together. I have to many to not to. Besides if they go up I wanna make sure the house is a total loss. I could use a brand new house. 🤣

Fun fact... RTR stands for "Ready To Replace" electronics :(

Over the years I have learned to stay away from RTR's and have found it far more cost effective to build a kit and install quality electronics from the start :)

I am no longer affiliated with PR (used to be a team driver with them) but they are the best quality you can get for the price IMO which would get most people in the same ballpark for a quality setup for about the same overall price they would spend on a RTR + replacement electronics:

Couple of fellow racers at my local track are running pr racing. Actually a guy that sold me tekno et410.2 switched to pr racing truggy. The reason I run eb410 and et410.2 is that I have 2 bags full of spare parts, although, I never broke anything on eb410, truggy on the other hand seems to be more fragile.

During winter we run indoor where traction is medium low, but during summer we run outdoor track and due to higher temperatures traction is medium high. I might save some money and buy pr racing 4wd buggy before summer to see if they are really that good. Everyone is saying they are much lighter and lower cg especially compared to tekno

I had original raced the EB410 and ET410 on turf and would later discover that TEKNO's were designed specifically for dirt.

I would later switch to PR and it was night and day better after the switch... I went from middle of the pack trying to get bumps into the A with TEKNO to becoming a pack leader with PR.

Bill I have been around long enough to know how to store and take car of lipo batteries, I've been following you around the many rc forums since I found Ultimate RC back in 2015, really sad that Jang just let the forum go the way he did. I seriously would check like every day for a year to see if it would come back up, but once he changed it to go to his Youtube is when I lost all hope it would ever return.

I have almost 30 cars and I actually counted my batteries I only have 23 lipos and 1 LiFe pack. 2 of the packs are getting ready to go into my bunker to get destroyed.

This battery makes me sad as I have only had it a year. IR of that one cell is like 18. I could always make a 2s out of it but meh too much hassle. No that isn't the Traxxas battery.
