Hey Bertmann, Welcome.

Do you notice any lights on the ESC?
What conditions are you running in?
We're you bashing on grass?
Did you happen to take temps of the electronics?
Have you tried unplugging the motor and seeing if the ESC shuts off when you pull the trigger??

Yes the esc would blink green twice. Running on loose sandy ground.never seen temps over 120 haven't tried unplugging motor to see if it happens and it doesn't happen every time ether.

id also like an answer, i have a Castle that sounds like it does the same thing.
plug a battery in, turn it on, everything seems good. steering sometimes works sometimes turns it off. even think about throttle/brake and it shuts off.

When you say steering that usually points to a BEC issue.

I recently installed a Spektrum servo into one of my trail trucks, never had a problem with that Castle ESC. It started doing the same thing with this new Spektrum setup. I'm thinking I'll have to go external BEC to stop the brown outs.

Flashing green twice per manual says it is motor thermal protection but since you said it happens when you pull the trigger...
More on that, does it cut out immediately after you pull it, or does it take a few seconds, also are you pulling to directly full throttle, or kind of ramping up the throttle slowly?

At first thoughts, it could be LVC set too high, or poor battery that can't handle load when you pull the throttle
Or, it could be bc you're geared a bit too high causing the motor to over heat quicker but since it happens right when you pull the throttle, it might not be it.

I was coming to say this. Definitely sounds like a BEC induced brown out.

Or a bad sensor wire if it's a sensored kit.

@BERTMANN What vehicle are we talking about and what battery are you running? and is your ESC/Motor combo sensored?

Max10 G2 (both versions) are sensored
If it is a bad sensor wire it'll be a pain to replace since you have the esc side and motor side, and it's a waterproof type connector. It's not a ordinary 6 pin sensor wire.

You should bench test unplugging the sensor wire and see what happens.

Some ESC's will default sensorless and keep going. If it stops rotating the drivetrain when you unplug the sensor you have something there.
