i'm trying to take a pinion gear off the shaft of a novak ss brushless motor and the set screw that holds the gear on is stripped and my allen wrench wont get it out! any ideas on how i can get out?

The easiest thing to do for future reference if use a pair of dykes. You open them up and place them behind the spur and use it to pry the spur off the rotor. It will put a light scratch on your rotor but it really wont hurt anything. With the pinion off you should be able to turn the grub screw even if it stripped out enough to get it out of there and then you can just replace the grub screw. Its way easier than drilling them out.
