3 weeks ago he was a happy little pup enjoying his life. He started acting weird 2 weeks ago when he got outside and ran down the block. He stopped running when I caught up to him and he started wobbling around and collapsed. I ran to him, picked him up, and took him home. As soon as I got inside he jumped up and started running around again. He had a seizure. He had 5 in total. We didn't have enough money to take him to the vet that day so we had to wait. He got a bunch of red spots on his tummy. We thought they were flea bites as the fleas where we live are unkillable and we can't get rid of them. We didn't think anything of it as he seemed fine for a while. Then, on Friday he started getting super lethargic. That's when we knew something was wrong. We still didn't have enough money so we were trying to wait until Tuesday. Then on Saturday morning, he started throwing up. He threw up 4 times. The first time was steak that we gave him to see if he was just hungry, then the other 3 times were bile. That's when we said screw it something is seriously wrong. We called the vet and they were asking a bunch of questions about him. They asked what color his gums were, and they were paper white. The emergency vet said to get there as fast as possible. We get there and they take him into a room. They then come in and tell us the best option for him would be for him to be put to sleep. He was only 2 years old. They said it was most likely cancer and that the red spots on his stomach were internal bleeding spots. I miss waking up to him lying on my bed looking at me. He was like my best friend.

It really sucks losing a pet. I never really got over losing my Husky as a kid. He just disappeared ine day. But getting another pet will ease the pain a bit.

Dude I feel you, a few months ago I lost my right-hand man a chihuahua I had since I was a little kid. It took a month just for me to even want to talk about it. His brother (same litter) is still around but he doesn't have that same I want to be constantly around you energy as his brother. It is hard going from having a dog around you for close to two decades to just gone.

I'm so sorry this happened. The loss of a pet is never easy.
I hope you're able to move on quickly and find a new pup to fix the hurt in your heart! ❤️❤️❤️
We have another but he’s just not the same.

Oh man I'm so sorry. To lose a pet is just gut wrenching 💔. I feel your pain. I lost my best friend about 6 yrs ago. It's really something you never get over. Pets just do nothing but love you. Hold on to your memories my friend. On a positive note, there's a ton of great shelter dogs that need loving homes.

We have another but he’s just not the same.
I have had dogs for most of my life. They are like people. No 2 dogs are alike.
Give it some time.
Although no 2 dogs are the same, they are ALL capable of tremendous love!
