Trying to make an EC2 connector for my ESC and for the life of me, cannot get the blue plastic connector to "pop" on the pins. Any tips? I've been trying to use a small flathead to push the brass piece in, but it won't stay. Even bent my little screwdriver a bit trying to push it in.

Any ideas? Driving me bonkers!

You can't have any solder around the outside of the pins. I would start over. You only want to remove enough of the shielding to get the wire into the cup of the pin. Like 1/8" or so.

Yep, cleaned them up, resoldered and using a micro-flathead and a gentle tap from my ping hammer, they seated nicely. Thanks @WickedFog !

I had to learn that lesson too as I'm waaaay to liberal with the solder. I still mess em up sometimes.
