Racers use ceramic and unshielded bearings for speed. You might want to try a set when you are actually racing.
You run in nasty muck too so I think sealed bearing might be better for a daily choice.
Some places sell by brand but size is the way. No questions about different version or bearing sizes between versions etc... 😉👍

got the axle mounts in, hooked up but man those little treal screws were trash, the factory screws were much betterer
still need to order a set of shocks to replace the bent one, and need to order a set of the fast eddy sealed bearings, just for the principle of hpw i drive and i need to be able to know i have quality carrying me thru,

Just giving a heads up, those aluminum lockouts are axle housing killers if you plan to continue any bashing. They’re fine on a racer, but any cartwheels or wonky impacts rip them right out of the housing.

This:

Was the result of this:

And I proceeded to do this 3 more times before going back to plastic lol

thats scary, I'm definatley goin gto rip some stuff up, I'm trying to limit the bashing on the sling, ( its so GD hard not to send it) i want it to be primarily for racing untill i get a few more trucks for other classes, much appreciation on that HELLA usefull heads up @xjtorc

was giving the sling a wipe down and noticed some new damage lol.
apparently I've cracked the casing on my servo.
and my front shock ( not the one i repaired) has leaked all the oil out.
I'm thinking about scavenging the nsdrc servo i got for the tekno sct
RS450 High Performance Budget Servo
until i secure the funds for

SS600 Extreme Performance Servo

i want to swap the body out, having minor issues getting a different body to fit without body posts,
i printed out a set of mounts but the posts keep not being acceptable.
i tried velcro but it flew off when i was airborne from the ballooning issue.
for now I'm just trying to reuse the basecamp body. it fits well enough, and looks pretty cool on the truck, AAAAND a new clear one is under 40 bucks so right in my price range,

the servo i got is 25t whereas the stock servo, and more imprtantly servo saver are both 23!! but its not all bad as the treal servo saver o ordered was 25! yay!!! was an emotional roller coaster!
when i took the servo off i found out it was cracked way worse than i thought, it makes sense why i couldnt turn left worth a damn!

I see why the servo cracked. Look where the screw stops. That screw should have been a few mm longer at least.

I don't know how to tell you this but I don't think that servo is waterproof anymore. 🤔 You guys should compromise and call it the "King Beetle King" 🤣

I have the hks servo installed but it's a 25 t and factory servo saver is 23
Waiting on the injora servo saver should be here today it's also a 25t

If it jams, force it... if it breaks, it needed replacing anyway!
:hehe:

2 steps forward 1 step back.

If you got a tool set grab the 7mm or 8mm. Unless that's the one you lost. I left all the screws, battery tray, all my Allen's up in sanford last week so I'm not driving the f450 this weekend. 😒

I hate waiting for parts to trickle in! I hate it so much that I usually don't end up waiting and do the job over and over as each piece lands. 🤷‍♀️🤣

The arms sure look nice!!! 😍😎👍
