With that CC combo you'll be counting BF's in double digits, LOL. Even with the rtr combo I had in mine the thing snapped off BF's lickety split.
Ignore my silly username.. once upon a time I thought I was gonna be the next YT sensation jumping houses, water towers and whatnot. Turns out big air costs big bucks, huh, guess I hadn't thought that through,LOL. More like No-Air nowadays. I primarily rip around a backyard track at home, much cheaper, and I always win with no one around!!

Kits I wanted to build one day. That's actually the list our Ryft came from. One of my favorite kits of all because it was a blast building it. Full Tekin as well, and It'll drive through walls!

When I first joined here, I had gotten back into the hobby 6 years or so prior, after a bit of a hiatus from the hobby. But I was balls deep into FPV Drones at that point. I still have a few. But after joining here and seeing people talk about the MT410, I put everything I needed to build a badass one, with full Tekin gear in my cart on Tower. I figured the kit would always be available, so one day I'd build one. But nope. That dream is gone.
Not to mention, Tower got rid of my entire wishlist, that I spent a couple years putting together
Anyway, I always wanted an MT410. But I kept seeing other things I wanted to tinker with. Ahem... SCX24's. And now, the MT410 is so sadly discontinued

And yessir-4s will be bananas in that thing. I would seriously say that 6s wouldn’t be any fun.. Be cool to see once or twice in a straight line, but that’s about it for me personally..

I actually found the drag racing stuff to be a lot more fun than I thought it would be. Even the lowly DR10 is quite a hoot. Especially on 3s. Breydon just likes watching the car come back while he wiggles the steering. The car rocks back and forth kinda funny, and he gets a kick out of it. Strange kidHell-I’m living vicariously too! If I hadn’t dropped a STUPID amount of loot into the new buggy (not the Associated from yesterday lol), I would’ve snatched this very MT410 up FOR SURE.

“Square” profile tires aren’t the best option for a monster truck that’s gonna get driven, and punished. They sell well, and look good, but honestly that’s it.. The backflips flat out perform, annnnnnnnd look good doing it to boot.. Also, the “in air” manners are just tremendous. If you put both on your truck, and ran a pack through each back to back-I’d bet my paycheck you’d never use the prolines again.. and they’ll be WAY easier on your driveline, and bearings..And not at all pissing on your stuff, just explaining as you wanted to know what the dealio is…

Ultimate Racing makes some nice ones in every color under the sun… Beach RC carries all of ‘em. I used to run the OFNA countersunk washers back in the day, but here lately it’s been Ultimate, Team Brood (@ Amain), and Tekno. Be sure to buy stock in proper flathead screws in the correct sizes to accompany that order.. nothing looks worse than a button head in there…

The Spektrum stuff is a lot better than most RTR stuff. Our 3s Granite is actually too damned powerful. I am sticking a Spektrum ESC in our X-Maxx if I ever get back on that project.Judge not.... good thing I never put a Spektrum 150A in one...
