Well for some reason the post office was feeling generous and delivered the parts today for this I’ve never had them deliver anything but Amazon packages on Sunday and I didn’t even have any of them coming today. I guess I’ll take it and get this thing wrapped up

I’m debating putting on the decals in the box or just leaving it plain gray and maybe dig through some other decals I got.

Well I had to deal with an impatient 10 yo during the wait . But other then that I’m happy with it!

I sometimes use a few of the supplied decals, but with something like a Vanquish, I'd do my own paint scheme. I don't like anything I build to be what everyone else has for the most part. Like the Rey will eventually get new clear body panels and I'll throw something different at it.

Let's see it with the panels on it

That actually wouldn't look bad at all with those decals. You could always get a sponsor sheet and throw some other ones at it.

But I look at crawlers like, I don't mind painting the outside at all. Paint scuffs off, but looks more natural than painting a crawler body on the inside. Think scalers, who use a lot of hardbodies. And scuffs would look cool on it since the underlying panels are grey.

That Bronco paintjob you did would look killer on this one too

I may end up ordering the black panels for the rtr version and try to paint it. The decals were the reason I grabbed the blue wheels too, but I ain’t married to them either…decisions

Main goal is complete though to get this mess off the bench before Wednesday

I think I will on the gray panels and then grab the black ones and try to paint em.
