That is not fair! Lol. That is the set I was hoping for! I was honestly contemplating getting those Trepadore tires too. Are those 2.2 wheels?

Wheels n tires just showed up along with some bullet connectors I needed. Now I can finish up the esc and get the cage on it.

How does all MY stuff keep getting shipped to YOUR house???

I'd REALLY like to hear about how the MT12 experience is for you! I have had one in my shopping cart too many times to not already own one! I'm READY!
The leaning curve is what concerns me most.

They look awesome. I was just wondering because I was watching that guy from the Scale Builders Guild and he stretches some Treps over some 2.2's. I'm either going with those treps or some Pitbull Rock Beast XLs.

Been experimenting with this a bit more and while it's nothing new in the crawler world, it's fun to fool with from time to time. On our super light crawlers, it seems to give them a bit more of a nimble feel. We stretch 1.9" two-stage CI foams and a JC Rupture tire over a narrow 2.2" wheel, and the Antero crawler does well with this setup.

Those wheels look "right" not low profile etc. The 6 lug is just cool!

Well luckily I got @WickedFog lined up to help if/when I need . His thread got me updated so far, but I haven’t got any farther with binding and setting up the rig yet. I only grabbed it cause there was a decent BF sale on it at helidirect

The only problem I have with the radio is knowing which protocols to use with what Rx's. I tried guessing my way through binding a Traxxas Rx with no luck. But I probably wasn't doing it right. SCX24's bind easily though. I just need to do a bit more research.

Yeah, HobbyWing beat the MT12 out of the heli direct cart and then AGAIN, same sale, knocked out by the RC10's I scored!
I am sad I missed that sale!

How is the quality on those Treal wheels? The only thing from treal I have tried is a servo saver for my Ryft.

Treal stuff is really nice. A little spendy, but I have bought a lot of stuff from them and the quality and customer service is pretty outstanding.

Like wicked, I haven’t had an issue with Treal between our minis and the wheels on the boys trx4. But like I said in your build thread, the hubs don’t work with the vanquish hexes. I took a drill to mine . Will see what happens. They weren’t the wheels I had planned on for the build, just what I could get quick before I knew I would have issues. I do plan to eventually get a set of wheels from vanquish for this, I was waiting til after Xmas though.

I always tell myself I'm going to get the vanquish wheels, but then end up getting the SSD wheels because they are cheaper and can use SLW hubs.
