I can't think how that could happen. I would say the insert broke. But that doesn't look like it broke. It looks like the tool wasn't touched off right or something. Or had a big offset in the X axis, maybe for the first piece. So how the hell did you get what looks like two setup parts though?

I'd be pretty ticked off at this point. Go demand your wheels are given as compensation for ruining your kids build.

In those pics one is a good shock and the other is one that didn’t get threaded properly. I’ll get some better pics. But there are two that are not threaded.

I use tupperware bowls to empty my parts bags into.

I bought one of the "8,000,000 pack" of bowls and lids.
The house is in utter chaos with tupperware halfway up our stairs but BOY is the r/c stuff well organized!

I saw that. On the bad one there either the minor diameter is too big, or the pitch diameter of the threads is way under. So somebody had a tool offset way off it appears.

Those are made in-house too I believe. Which doesn't say much for their machinists if that is the case.

Wheels n tires just showed up along with some bullet connectors I needed. Now I can finish up the esc and get the cage on it.
