New bearings in rear hub. All put back together. New waterfall mount / body post so I can actually use a body clip. since the old one broke.

Something I also noticed with this new Proline body is that the front is a bit taller with more clearance, unlike the other bodies which sits on top of the servo / servo saver causing a "bump" in the body. That's why with my stock and Jconcepts F2 previous shells, I cut out the front part because it all broke off anyways and due to the servo saver bump. With the Proline, looks like they fixed it. But not totally sure, ill see how its all mounted up afterwards. ;)

Also gonna try my best and replicate the shell I did for the 10th scale.

Didn't get time to paint the new shell since it was raining yesterday, but here was my run at the factory today. Pretty fun car on this size track. Was having esc/power issues. Either its the esc wire into the rx or the power leads in the esc, or the esc is just giving out. Had these issues before. Gonna either get the new spektrum 2in1, or use my faster and cheaper amazon combo I had in it before and try to smoosh in my flysky receiver lol.

Do you know anythimg about the mini beetle?
Is it a track capable car or best on a shelf?

This build is far more in depth than I knew these mini's go! I'm impressed!!!
Nice job!
Yes I seen mini beetle projects/builds with a beetle bug body. They look pretty good. Never seen them actually racing or on a track so can't comment.

The lap right after the wreck was looking really good, until you wiped out again. That Mini B looks like a blast!

So following my current issues as seen here: https://www.rctalk.com/forum/thread...er-hungry-very-long-post-bare-with-me.144327/

In need of a new servo. It's just easier to get a new servo anyways. Either going to stick with Savox and get one of the newer model servos, or I was thinking about going with the NSDRC RS1000 which is on the pricey side but super high quality (with using their mount and horn) Or if I am the cheap side ill probably go back to the EcoPower 827 or a stock Spektrum and hope it doesn't fail. Edit: @CertifiedMike mentioned Reefs so ill also take a look into them.

ESC stuff, also decided to get a new esc. 16BL30 hobbywing. Should pair up well with the current surpass hobbies motor I have, but it pulls 32 amps so might be slightly overkill but should still work and the hobbywing is a upgrade since I can actually calibrate my throttle with the SET button. If it does overheat the esc I will see if I can add a very small fan to the esc if room allows for it (maybe have a cutout in the body for airflow for that fan if needed?)

Using my flysky receiver with the esc/motor being separate, it will be a tight fit. Would have to dremel out the battery tray stops off from the side rails to move the esc more to the left so I have room to mount the FS receiver. I was thinking about futaba and using my 3PV but futaba's micro receivers is still way bigger than a normal and cheaper FS antenna-less receiver. (When I raced this almost 2 years ago, jeez, I was running faulty radiounlink with their r4fgm receiver and it was small enough I just floated it on top of the servo and it would work out fine without being secure to the chassis)

Continuation of the build, is gonna be a hard choice. I do wanna keep the car, but currently I want to focus on the TLR/Associated for winter racing season, and with it being cold out, the slash/rustler won't be used alot so I will have those as backup cars for the track for a "spare" or "fun" class instead of competitive. Currently with the Mini B, I don't like to bash it outside since it is too small (if it were a GROM with a plastic chassis, sure, but not a 2wd metal one like this Losi) and I don't have my basement track anymore. No one has interest in a Mini Mod class for carpet offroad so I was planning on just painting up the new body and make a little display car for somewhere around the house. Can get electronics later in the future if anyone has interest in racing Mini ;)

You need an MT12 my dude. Go check out their receivers. The Rx that comes with the 4in1 version is nearly half the size of the GR3E or whatever the hell it is. I'm recliner bound and down for the night or I'd get you a pic to compare. If I remember after I wake up, I'll do that. I know. You need another radio like you need a monkey growing out of your shoulder throwing poop at everyone. But I would just like to rub it in. I mean gloat. Definitely don't rub it in 🙈💩🤢

Oh. Here it is next to the 10BL120. You hate me don't you 😝

Send me 130 bucks and I will lol. Jk. Will look into it though.

Ok yea that is small.

The Radiomaster is just a bit longer than the flysky receiver, but is smaller in width and height. Comparing to a FlySky FGr4S V2 receiver. With the Mini B, the width is what fights me to smoosh it in there lol.

18 bucks for a radiomaster receiver!! Thats a steal! with the super advanced ELRS it has

I think I need to make a trip to your workbench and do a shopping spree 🤣 🤣

Oh I was looking at that R8 one you have in your picture. That one you linked looks even smaller! 3ch, all that I need.
Yeah, you should look at some of their really tiny ones for other stuff.

If you buy an ELRS MT12 system, it will only use ELRS receiver vs 4 in 1 system can use just about every brand receivers. Is this correct?
I didn't know they made a small receiver for these radios! 😍😎
If you buy the ELRS version, you can also buy the 4in1 module which snaps into a socket on top of the radio. Then you have the best of both. And vice versa. You can buy some kickass ELRS modules to use on the 4in1.

My buddy recommended the hobbywing FOC 2in1 fusion mini16. It's 3000kv but it is super smooth at low throttle.
But does it have settings that you need for racing? The FOC stuff is technically meant for crawlers. Not racers, as far as I know. So you might want to check the settings the ESC has.

I mean, it has basic settings. All that I need essentially. I don't plan on really racing it again unless anyone shows interest in starting up a class since I already tried too and no one really showed interest. The fusion has more settings than the spektrum/dynamite 2in1.

Yep that dynamite motor is done for. Not usable. Endbell plate just fell off and it looks like it doesn't want to go back in. Wiring is shot anyways. But got in a new Spektrum one which is the same but under the Spektrum name for 4 dollars more lol. Went in smoothly. Got in a new replacement savox but it broke when I tried to put it in. (See Daily Rant thread for more on that, ugh) So I filed a warranty and Ill send it out to them this week.
But other than the servo I still currently do not have a receiver so Ill probably steal 1 out of the other car or wait till my uncle finds his futaba rx since I want this car with my 3PV. Also ill get some ec2 to deans adapters for my lipos since yall know I'm bad at soldering. I need a new station too anyways.
