Hello. I'm well aware that I'm super late to the party but I recently got a mini b and I love it, I got a nice deal and was able to pick two up and because one of them was brand new in the box, I'm keeping one for my son thats turning 7 in a month 😬

Question is:

What is the absolute smallest size i can make a removable carpet track? I was planning to buy carpet tiles to make it more customizable, would 2ft wide on the turns be enough for 2 mini b's

Also an approximate width and lenght if someone has done such a thing before.thanks in advance!

In my basement I just have it easy where I run on my actual room carpet. Old shaggy carpet. Once I move some stuff around it's a good 10x10 feet free space so I think and feel like that is the absolute smallest you can go. Any smaller it's not really practical.
In actual tracks I ran my mini on my local carpet tracks and clay track. Carpet shines for the mini. Clay is a bit hard to get used to bc of sliding out and bumps in the surface.

Heres my build thread:

Tires wise I just run my carpet tire set since I had the car. ProLine Prism rears and Wedge fronts. Still look new after racing it a couple summers ago, tons of track practice and running it in my basement mini "bash pit" since you really can't call it a track lol. Since it's not enough space to run an efficient track.

I was thinking doing these foam interlocking tiles like the ones you might see in kids play areas but I don't have anywhere to store them once I put them away. Also since they're foam it will be more harsher on tires.

My basement is unfinished and just cement, Ill be measuring the area once I'm home. Thank you for your input!

Thanks! The little thing is super cool and although brushed, is plenty fast for my driveway too!
Brushed does NOT mean slow! 😉 Sounds like the perfect buggy for a young feller too! 👍
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG GUY!!! 😎🎂🍨🍰🎉
