Ok, coupe of questions to see if I am losing my mind....

First, i had two of these in a row quit working after one or two uses.... Is that normal?

Second, after the second stock setup went out on me I decided I would just upgrade it so I got the

EcoPower "Electron" Micro 24 Brushless Upgrade Combo (Sensored ESC & Motor) For Losi™ Micro-B/T

but as soon as I set that up, i had two batteries go bad??? When I put them on my protec battery checker they both only showed 1s..... and i would get an issue where the car would get stuck in a turn on its own no matter where i had the wheel on the controller.... What did I do wrong lol... Please help!!!

ok, this is the set up I am running, don't judge the wire management lol once I get it running well I will fix that. But as you can see the battery is a 2s but it is only showing 1s after only one use, this was a brand new battery. This is the third 2s battery that this has happened to.... is this motor/ecs setup burning them up or what.... HELP!!!!

Chatted with amain.... we are thinking it is the ecs motor combo so i am returning what I have and going with the furitek set up... so we shall see... I will update the post once I have it set up.

I have 2 Micro T’s and one Micro B, stock electronics. No issues. Hope you can get it sorted out, they are a hoot to run.

Thank you, I have had the worst luck with the stock ones.... after two went out on me almost right away I went ahead and decided to go modded but thats not working out any better lol.... its bad when all the kids have Maverick Microbe's and they run better then Losi......

We have two Mini-Bs and the stock setup has worked fine for many battery charges. The only issue, and it has come up twice, is that sometimes the dual rates on the steering channel get set to zero, so it appears the servo is broken or there is some other radio problem. I think you have to press and hold the steering trim button to adjust the dual rates.

I eventually upgraded the motor and ESC to this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0758KW2R4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
and it's insane now. 41.0 MPH with a 2S battery and on 3S (not recommended) it's nearly impossible to use full throttle without flipping it over or running out of visual / radio range.

So i have a mini-t as well and that thing has been a champ, but on these micros this battery think keeps being an issue.... now one of my kids Maverick Microbe's has done the same thing to a battery.... when it was checked it was dropped to 1s..... why is this happening lol, we are running five of these things in the basement and the battery cost is going to get up to the 1/8 scale price range at this pace lol

So what's happening to your batteries? The pack voltage is so low that the charger thinks it's a 1S battery? The importance of keeping each cell of a lipo battery within its safe operating voltage range can't be overstated. I don't know anything about Microbe's but if possible, verify the ESC's low voltage cutoff setting is at least 3.2 volts per cell. On the charging side always use a lipo compatible charger with a balancing plug. Limit charge current to 1 "C" or less. I put C in quotes because it's technically C/H but C is what seems to be universally accepted.

We've had good luck so far with these in our Mini b's.

They have a similar (non-plus I think) battery for about $2 less. I bought 3 of the batteries linked above and when they were new, my Hyperion charger showed all the batteries had an internal resistance of less than 4 milliohms per cell, which is almost too low to believe for an 850 mAh battery. I should check them again now that they've had several charge/discharge cycles on them.

yes, that is exactly what has happened... I think the issue I have been having and I think it is my fault because I have been just using the wall plug chargers that came with the cars.... i am going to see if I can get them fixed on the big charger and save them all. and I think the cutoff voltages are all set good i believe. Any advise on reviving these batteries on the actual balance charger lol I know with bigger batteries you do a micro charge on a lower setting lol so i was just going to try to do that with these.

I've only ever use the supplied chargers that comes with my mini rc. Have yet to have any battery issue with any of the dozen mini rc I own.
