Have 2 Micro Ts, and a Micro B and wanted a spare motor for the parts kit, not one Losi motor available until 12/25?? Other suitable replacements?

Variety of options out there. I thought a while back Moforc did a demo with a 030 motor but now I can't that info. I can't find anything except the 050 (which requires mods) recommended on the site. I do see there are 030 buzzsaw x series available which may work as a get by. Although the buzzsaw x series says works better with a different ESC. Or Injora has 45 turn motors that supposedly work. I don't have any direct experience of course! Been hoping for a sale. Might end up just buying one just because. But that doesn't stop me from window shopping for hop up parts 🤪Good luck!

Thanks guys. Not ready for brushless on these at this point. Losi OEM got solid reviews, but there is a long wait. Will keep reading reviews on the third party options, some seem ok, others get dinged for short lives. Open to options as I would like to have a spare. Thanks

Thanks @TeknoJ , I had wondered if a 50 would fit w/o hacking up the chassis, good info. A little more grunt would be fun, really thought brushless might be out of control for my skill level😝

Its just a longer can motor. You will have to use your pinion.
How many turns is the stock motor?

The stocker is a 65t motor according to Losi. Pinion should be no problem if shafts are the same diameter. Any favorites in that size?

There should be a sticker on the motor that says it’s turn count. You may have to remove it.
I know injora and eco make a replacement but reviews have said they burn up. Those guys did not “run in” the motor though.

I'd be curious to see how a 050 motor fits. Moforc show notching the right outside frame to make his setup work
I’m not sure, with out having one to look at I couldn’t say. The 050 is a longer can so it’s possible something has to be notched.
They have a 030 that would be a drop in. It’s the same motor size as an scx24.

Thanks for the links @Burnzone , good info. Going to order a scx24 66t to try. Not sure I could keep a brushless setup headed in the right direction just yet.🙄

I think you want a few less turns on that motor preferably.

Thanks @Ritz413 that looks like a solid choice.
