Again-box stock.. I’ve got a a TON of shoes, and springs for various stuff-but I’ll give this setup a whirl.. Likely go to a couple carbons though if I had to guess..

Obviously stagger your springs. Gold opposite gold, and green the same way..

Picco brass collet on the left, Tekno collet on the right. ALWAYS run the collet that comes with your flywheel. Tapers, and length vary wildly..

When sliding the collet on, pull the crank forward, while keeping the collet against the inner front bearing flange. If you do not-you’ll smoke your backplate, wear your rod, and crank pin prematurely, both bearings, and your clutch bell, and flywheel will walk all over the place..

I do NOT run loctite on the external crank threads. Tekno recommends you do. Run it however works for YOU. I’ve never lost one when I didn’t run it here.

Just a tick. It’s gonna loosen up as it’s ran in, but you don’t wanna kill them right off the bat because of preload when the entire assembly heats up..

This is exactly whatcha want.. If you can see the shoes below the bell, take some shims out from behind the bearing.

Now I DO run threadlocker on the crank bolt, ALWAYS. Tekno recommends you don’t. So I do the complete opposite of their advisement on the flywheel but, and crank bolt. The only time I’ve ever lost one-was no thread locker. Again-do you, boo-boo..

QuickChange, extended leg, billet 3pc mount from 1Army.. I love these.. I ran Kingheadz, and Fioroni billet parts for YEARS, but they’re about kaput as far as new stuff goes..

Non-kit fasteners, and washers..

Obvious here..

Split lock, flat steel, and threadlocker on a 12.9 Tony’s…

The BIGGEST plus to this mount, is that once you set your mesh-anytime you do maintenance aside from changing your bell tooth count-you don’t ever have to reset the mesh.. Just makes life easier.. -one less variable to keeping your motor square to the spur as well..

Locking it down… Digging the blue washers, as opposed to the black.. Just enough contrast..

Hardcoated Reds Racing X-One 1pc 2143 pipe/header combo..

Cut down my J&T spring mount.. I NEVER use the pipe lock that’s included with it..

Thanks so much you two!! I finally caught a break, and happened to be at the right place, in the right time when Picco released that rascal.. I’m still mind blown at how many changes they made to their typical/latest offering (which I own, and is already a BEAST of a motor).. No nitro engine manufacturer EVER has done what Picco did with this one.. I am BEYOND pleased with how well it jives aesthetically with the rest of the build too..
