Nah-I can drive pretty decent lol.. The only things on the track that might be worth worrying about for me are the deck post next to the lane, and the BACK side of the massive wooden launch ramp next to the same lane, but on the opposite side.. . Oh well-it’ll separate the men from the boys, and let Darwin take over..

I posted a gif of the 3 Stooges blowing up (nitro) fuel on @majin post the other day... (Those guys are my absolute HERO'S so it wasn't to be mean!)
BUT...
I've been a "noob" and I've been to "noob" races and seen and done some DUMB stuff!!!
It might not be such a bad idea to sit and watch!!!

I stepped back from a LOT of shiit for a hot minute, but then made time for the track again. Life gets in the way on occasion, but serious headway is going down..

That being said-I suppose I should toss up some photos after making time to get back on this dealio.. The septic, then cold season, then some health BS threw an entire handful of wrenches in this plan.. Back at it though..

Had to get back after grass/weed growth..

Got in a bit of drive time between Mrs. Littlemotor, and myself for a bit..

We caught a SERIOUS amount of rain over a three day span.. This was during the third day, about 2hrs before it finally stopped. We have not gotten this amount of rain since we moved in almost 4yrs back.. That includes several hurricanes that absolutely crippled the state of NC (among many others). That being said-I feel very good about my work, and the frequency of something like this happening..

Track plan actually revised closer to 186’ wide, and 75’ deep from 175x70’.. Also the name has been changed to “Psychopants Off-road”..

I’ve been steadily expiring these bad little mofo’s… I’m not playing around out here anymore..

Taken out (4) in about a 4wk timeframe. Haven't seen a single new tunnel pop up, and not one trap has gone off since..

I have since locked in the dirt order for some fine, compaction grade NC stuff from an old acquaintance of mine.. I haven’t seen/talked to this dude in right around 15-20yrs, and actually used to do a bit of work for his old man.. Bringing in around (5) 20yd trucks, and he is SERIOUSLY hooking it up.. Put my eyes on the dirt this past Saturday, and it’s locked in 100%.

Then comes about 1300’ of 4” corrugated black pipe, 300ish 12” twisted, galvanized landscape spikes with 1.5” ZC flat washers..

It’s on fellas.. I’ll keep the updates coming..

I can just about guarantee I’ll never own a crawler, or a short course. They just don’t do it for me at all..

Mini Truggies are more awesome tho imo. - ie faster and more planted.

Didn’t expect to make an update this soon, but I just haaaaaaad to say somethin’ earlier…

So I JUST went out there to attempt to find another tunnel or two showing for a better trap location than the obviously vacant two spots I chose after the last murder..

I walked up onto the hip jump at the end of my internal tree row, and sure enough…

As I stood there trying to determine the best run for the trap, I literally thought to myself, “wouldn’t it be some shiit if I just happened to see some earth raise up right here while pondering a good location…”.. Well low, and behold-right before my eyes.. Walked back to the storage room, and grabbed my spade.. Tip-toed all ninjurrrr style, slowly creeping up on the offender with yard guillotine in hand.. I carefully hovered just over the rising soil, and STAAAAB!!! No more movement..

My traps have absolutely been doing work with (4) in almost 4wks now, but I’ll be damned if I was just gonna set one and walk away.. I may or may not have muttered “This one’s for @Xraycer !!”, under my breath, as I dropped the blade, and unalived #5 FTMFW.. My traps apparently make me out to be some yuppie compared to his fully built plinker over there..

Sent him to Valhalla (the woods) to join his brothers..

Also managed to locate one final new tunnel between the deck (“Driver’s Stand w/a grill on it ), and that inside track tree row.. That MAY be his main run, but we shall see. Since I’m fresh out of tunnels, I set a trap at roughly each side of it for good measure.

Fairly easy to pick out the run in this shot..

And one more shot.. Was attempting to get both traps AND the run.. The deck-side trap is JUST outside of the bottom of this photo..

I swear the universe absolutely hates me with this track… I’ve got 20yd tandem axle dump trucks, and heavy equipment on standby as we speak…

This is after almost a week of rain gone by already.. FML..

You’d absolutely have to buy one cuz I’d have proved it’d be a skill issue!!

Personally love SCTs. 2WD SCT is the best race class imo.

Maybe you’ve got enough spare parts to build up a Tekno SCT48? Maybe a bigger SCT would fit your bill?
