SHOULD be the last revisionā¦
So the last couple times we ran, I drove the line of the OG layout in the first photo.. No pipes, only a few jumps in place, and the flow just sucked.. Too many 180ās, too slow in more parts than I was comfortable with, and like I say; it just did not FLOW worthadamnā¦..
First revision.. Far less cool on paper, but soooooo much faster, and actually flowed real nicely.. Iāll for sure take cool first hand, over cool on paper.. Maybe if I change the name one more time, and add āDEATHā in there, itāll still be as cool on paper..
There WAS a fairly substantial issue with the new revision, and that was the natural flow of water that splits my property in half diagonally starting at whatās the lower, far right corner of the plan, and extends up toward the upper, far left of the plan..
I REALLY donāt wanna fight Mother Nature, as the grade is what I am after, and definitely do not wanna upset the drainage down the line.
So the plan is to work with the grade I have as planned, but also MAKE USE of the elevation change.. The best way I know to do that, is to do a bit of a āsnake runā back and forth, using the sides of the āVā as berms.. Itāll still flow real well for the *uggies, and for the rain when we have weather..
Iām also gonna fill it with compaction grade clay, and widen it out to more of a fat āUā.. The clay wonāt erode like the current top soil flavor thatās out there, and it wonāt be a ton of work. All this while improving the feel of the layout IMO.. All fast all the time gets old, and I donāt do boring.. The rest of the layout is plenty fast, and thereās more than enough big jumps to keep me entertained.. I also pushed the far left out another 4ft, extended both far left lanes another 12ft, and pushed the far right out another 12ft as well
..
So here is what I believe will be the final revision.
I got with my dirt guy buddy this past Thursday evening, and he ādigs itā

.. 20yd tandem axle dump trucks will be arriving with the CLEAN, compaction grade clay as weather allows, then the real work begins.. Iām freakin PUMPED.
