My LHS is having an indoor, 1/24 scale crawl comp today.

I have played on the course several times, this will be my first comp ever.

I will be running my build, Dirty Dom. My daughter is bringing her Gladiator, not sure if she is going to compete.
My buddy is going too, not sure what he plans on running.

This is a "Run What You Brung" Style Competition for out-door 10th Scale and in-door 18th/24th Scale

Cost: $10 for One Truck

Basic Rules

Gate/Reposition = 10pts, Rollover/Assist = 5pts, Reverse = 1pts You have a maximum time of 10 Minutes per run. Judging can be done by anyone, if you need to quick class I can teach you.

Best of luck! Most important…have fun and give us an update and pictures later😉

This is the 2nd 1st comp post I have seen recently, and good luck!!! Keep it up guys!! I also plan to compete....I need to pick a platform and a date to make it happen. Leaning towards the mini b at the moment. Gonna put some more laps on it today and check my latest suspension tweaks.

So, it was a good experience.

A little different than a normal comp.
It was a "consistency" comp, so you were competing against yourself.

You got 3 runs. The idea was to have as similar of a score (points and time) as possible in all 3 runs, which gave a percentage. There were no classes, truly run what you brung.

We both ran custom builds with RWS.

I got an 81%. Had be in 3rd but my buddy beat me pretty well, putting him in secodn and me down to at least 4th.
The competition went all day, you could come in anytime and do your runs.

A few people came after us. And 2 had preregistered but couldn't make it this week, so they are running this week.

The shop did post about it on their Facebook page

Now that sounds like fun. My LHS has a cool mini crawler course that's alot of fun, but on comp days it's so packed there's barely standing room. 5 hours watching to drive 6 minutes. I went twice but never did a comp again, just test/play occasionally.
