My folks bought me a short course truck to race for my birthday. I got the thing together and I'm looking at the body and planning out the paint job. I have a question about using liquid mask, since this is going to be my first attempt. There are parts of this paint job where using liquid mask should make my life much easier. But there are other spots, like the window masks, where using the provided masking would be easier. Is there any issue with throwing down with traditional masking before painting on the liquid masking?

I thought so. I have a little bit more than window masks to lay down. I paint my race cars like a yellow taxi cab. The lettering is also something that'd be best to not cut by hand.
