Haha thank you! I'm so glad. In hindsight I still wonder if I should have done the lightning yellow, but it is the pink thunderstorm she wanted so 😊

I think its a great pink thunderstorm!
Best one I ever saw!!! 👍

I'd be very happy if I managed that paint job myself! 😍
Plus, so tiny!!! 🤣

Gosh yea. So so tiny! 1/10 scale has to go a lot easier right?? 🤣

I do like painting the bodies with an airbrush though. 1000% better than rattle can

I aaaaaaalmost added an Iwata brush to my latest rc order. Maybe next time. 🤞

I doubt I'll get such nice results but I never will unless I try! 😉

This paint job looks better without my glasses on 🤣

Dangit...WHY did I even search this?! and it's a hard body.

I may have a 4th body painting project again... eventually.

Which one do you have?
Everyone seems to love them. 😍
I don't have an Iwata yet. It's one of those things where I already have two cheap Master brand airbrushes. They get the job done ok. Not great. But I ain't a great painter these days anyway, so I can't really justify getting one. I wish one of my current ones would hurry up and break though 😆

But after years of watching the masters use them on YT, I have noticed nearly all of them use Iwata. So they gotta be awesome airbrushes.

I feel like... everyone says just buy the Hota, so I did.
I would prob be ok with another brush but I am confident now that I can not blame my crap paint jobs on faulty brushes once I'm thru buying. 🤣

Clearly it was crappy paint! Cheap lexan! Loose masking tape!!! 😉🤣

I love my iwata. Learning curve is quick with it too. It's one of those things we're buying the right equipment for it is key (regulator, good hose, good cleaning equipment, etc). It has performed great for me the past few years.

I’ve painted with Spazstix about a dozen times. It works and looks great if you follow their suggestions to a T. If you try to short cut or mix with other paints especially the chrome paints it doesn’t turn out as well. I’m gonna use colored chrome on an upcoming project and see how it turns out

Colored chrome sounds interesting. I haven't tried mixing their colors yet. I've been pleased with the coverage so far; though it seems it'll take a lot of paint to coat a 1/10 scale body.
