For a 2S battery, wattage ain't going to mean a thing. Balance current will make a bigger difference, and the D300 balance current is CRAP.

Welcome to RCT
If you want a great charger that's easy to use, charges fast, very affordable & small, & won't burn up in flames, get a Gens. ace Imars D300 charger.
Welcome,

There is simply no better value in a charger right now, than the Hota D6 Pro.

Greywolf tested balance current efficiency and proved it makes a noticeable difference.

And this guy knows more about chargers than all of us.

Pros and cons of a higher balance current? Sure, higher balance current could make a charge cycle finish up/top off faster but is it really needed? Most people probably won't even notice a difference, unlike wattage. Also Amain's video for the price per watt says differently. To each of their own. 🤷🤔

The D300 is 0.43 cents per watt, while most 200w chargers are around 0.55 to 0.70 cents per watt. Making it truly the best bang for your buck charger.

I just suggest getting a higher wattage charger now, even if OP runs just 2s, the extra wattage can help in the future if and when he moves up to bigger cars that needs more voltage. IE, 4s and 6s packs. A 200 watt charger (100 per channel) won't be able to do 1C on a 6s pack that is higher than 5000mah, period.

Edit: wattage most certainly DOES matter. No matter if your bashing, racing, flying, what not, it always has a play in something.

I'm not trying to fight on which charger is better I'm just basing my recommendations on facts, tech, specs, and math. Math does not lie. ?
Wattage makes absolutely NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER if you aren't maxing out the available amperage of charger. And the biggest portion of charging is often under balance current, where your charger drops from whatever amperage you set the charge rate to, to 1.2A on the D300 vs 1.6A on the D6 Pro. So during that phase of charging, balance current becomes very important. Don't be a hater just because you bought the wrong charger 😉

All gensacearespammers had to do to create the absolute best bang for your buck charger was put a better balance current in their design, but they probably figured most people don't know a thing about LiPo chargers anyway, so most wouldn't even know how important balance current is anyway.

To think balance charge amperage doesn’t matter is asinine. Tell me you don’t know anything about LiPo chargers without saying you don’t… 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Too much regurgitating what you HEARD, and no actual education, or sense to APPLY knowledge from actually understanding electricity. “Math doesn’t lie?”… Correct, so show that math then. 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

Math does not lie. ?
Explain that math please. I'll wait.

Don't forget to add in examples with differences in balance current, and how long the difference is in charge times.

You guys crack me up with all your 'mines better than yours' antics. 😂 🤦‍♂️
For certain 2S LiPo packs/charging practices, both the D300 and the D6 are NOT up to the task for me. 🤷‍♂️

You, @Djdude76, picked a great topic to ask questions about. 😎:thumbs-up:
If you are wanting a dual channel charger that won't totally suck, and not knowing the specifics of your wants/needs, either of the two chargers mentioned would be a great pick.

Maybe check out this thread in the Electronics section of the forum: What battery charger do you recommend?
