Just bought this car. Still breaking it in and tuning it. I still want to tune it a bit more before I take it out onto a tar track. I replaced the rubber tires and went with slicks and it handles very well on the street. It does lower it more than stock tires by about a 1mm. It sits 5mm stock. Any tips and recommendations for this car? I'm running 20% Nitro fuel with stock glow plug. Only use it for street and some track runs. Had to cut holes in the body for air circulation.

After cutting holes in body and put in slicks, I installed hot pink air filter and then re-tuned. its about 99% tuning, but it's HOT here in Texas! With this heat the engine will ALWAYS need to be tuned.

Body from a Kyosho FAB158 fits my 1/10 FW06 200mm. Painted metallic purple. Black Spoiler. I wish I had an actual Supra rear loop spoiler. The first pics still have the clear splash mask on. I can already tell its gonna be BOSS! Still need the stickers, ,mount the spoiler, the exhaust pipe hole and the mounting holes.

Put the body on the chassis. Had to raise the body supports to clear the fuel tank and the sides. Looks decent for my first paint job. Still hesitant about removing the clear splash mask. Still need to cut a hole for the Engine Heatsink ,the Gas Tank access and mount the rear spoiler.20191029_061651.jpg20191029_061703.jpg20191029_061711.jpg20191029_061724.jpg

Cut the holes for the exhaust, engine heatsink and pull start. Also, removed the inner window masks. Maybe when it gets a bit warmer and they finish paving my street I'll remove the outer splash mask and put all the stickers on and take some final pics before the shell gets all scratched and worn.20191029_184702.jpg20191029_184747.jpg20191029_184837.jpg

Ran the Kyosho down the street on a longer strip without many houses/driveways. Lots of wind, though. This is where the holes on your body/shell can make a difference. I have all the windows cut out and Its too much drag and causing a lot of oversteering. Also, I have the least sticky wheels on the Kyosho. I'm running the stock rubber wheels they aren't too bad, but with all the wind and weak traction the car seems unmanageable at higher speeds.

Finally finished the Supra Body. I really like the way the Metallic Purple came out.
