been gone a min for vacation. I did manage to get a little done on Fazer today though. I got the light weight spur gear from PowerHobby. So now for the drivetrain I have the beefed up diffs. metal out drives, aluminum dog ones. The heavy duty drive cups, aluminum drive shaft, metal 32 tooth pinion gear, light weight 76 tooth spur gear. Being powered by a 4300kv PowerHobby brushless motor on an aluminum motor mount. I hope this thing stays together.

If it blows up, it will be a very pretty, shiny explosion!!!

So here’s my attempt on getting my RC cars into the 21st century. This is my first set of hi-tech tire foams I’ve ever installed. They seem to match up perfectly with the tires. Although I thought the side wall part would have been thicker. They are a medium grade for speed.

Is this a RC motor or a real motor? This is the Injora simulated V8 motor that is actually a motor fan too. I got this a few other goodies and some parts off the Parma Hemi model motor I have from 20 plus years ago. The chrome is 3 different shades. So I’m gonna paint all of it a brushed nickel I think. I’m not a huge chrome fan anyway other than rims. I’m gonna paint all of the rest of the parts to match the color they were back in the 1900s. Man that sounds old. lol. I will have to do a little fab work. The intake is too narrow for the blower. And a few other items need trimming a little plus I’ll be able to hang the headers off heads all on the stock Kyosho motor mount. I’ve even got some real stainless hose covering and and nylabraid hose covering. And a rubber band for the belt.

Came across these KillerBody door handles. Gonna use the Jeep style ones. They are fairly close to the real style used on the truck
