Kraton 6s v5 shock upgrade

Been doing some preventative maintenance work on my used kraton v5 over the winter. Rear shocks were sagging horribly and preload collar maxed out just for level ride height. Was gonna rebuild them with stiffer springs, but decided to just purchase new rear shocks through jennys. Picked up v6 exb shocks and problem solved. Not sure if newer models come with stiffer springs, but truck sits perfectly level now and stock preload adjuster only about 25%. Will be ordering same front shocks ASAP

The EXB shock springs are stiffer, higher spring rate, than the BLX V5 springs. I'd crack open those V5 springs & see if they are low on 1000cst. Might be the issue. Nothing wrong with new shocks, tho.

Yup, that's why I figured for $40-50 I'll just buy new arma shocks and worked perfectly, rather than rebuild them. Good to find out upgraded models have stiffer springs
