and his love of spiders.

Not the greatest pic.

Spider from Kauai. Body was about 1.5 inches long.

I had a brown spider about the size of a quarter in my basement the other day.
Was barefoot, so I picked up a rag to smash it. When I raised up the rag, the big spider was in it but.....

All these little tiny baby spiders were going everywhere!

Talk about freaking out! Gives me the heebee geebees (sp?) thinking about it.
I sprayed Raid everywhere. Kept itching after I went to bed. They don't usually freak me out. That really screwed me up.

eeewwww....that's so gross...all the little spiders crawling out of it...I know I'd be messed up for a while too...

They weren't crawling....

They were running! All 8 legs!

Something like this.

All the little ones on her back.
Not my spider, but you get an idea of what I mean.

Spiders don't usually bother me. I'm starting to itch now though.

Ahh, the ever-lovely Wolf Spider. I smacked one of those last night. It was hangin out on the wall as I went to the restroom. Just gave it a 'whack' right as I passed it.

Sucker had to have been the size of a soda can around.
