Junk charger

That charger apparently is a 400W charger and is 200W per side. Their page is confusing as it says the maximum charge rate for lipos is 1C so I figured ot was a 200W charger (100W per channel) but if you read through the manual it says the total power out put in 400W (200W per channel) and the max charge is 10A per side. So a very good middle of the road charger. Just make sure you get a PSU that is rated for at least 500+ Watts.

I'm just using a atx power supply for now... Its capable of 30A and thats all this charger needs to run at full power.. I don't need full power since I'm only charging Nimh right now so this will do until i can get my hands on a server supply. I have a buddy that is a tech so i may be able to get one for free

Actually the atx supply I got for it is so quiet I did not realize it was running. Will do good for what I need

Well the junk charger definitely destroyed all my batteries. 8 batteries and none of them charge close to capacity now. Gonna try a few cycles at 1 amp and see if I can get them to recover.

Guess lipo is in my future now

these were not cheep batteries.. but o well would have been nice if the local shop would have come good for some of this or even the manufacturer of the charger.. Gonna order up some 8.4v 7600mah traxxas batteries for some reason traxxas stuff has taken a big drop over the last few weeks.
