We put a 2800kv in ours and it’s ok. I may go bigger pinion on it too

I took a look in my spare parts bin and found a 14t pinion. I'll see what difference that makes. I found a 15t too, but it is for a 5mm shaft.

I know this rig isn't designed to be quick, but swapping the 13t pinion for a 14t made enough of a difference to me.

Now for the shock tuning. Right now I have the Dlux shocks, 30wt oil, medium springs, and 2 preload rings. When I drop the rig from 6" it bounces, so I am assuming I need to try taking out pre-load spacers first and then experiment with the soft springs to smooth it out.

I did a little experimenting and realized I have no clue what I'm talking about I don't think the rig bouncing has anything to do with the shocks. It's light and the tires have a medium-firm foam inside. Pretty sure it's the tires making it bouncy, so I'm just going to leave it be.

Well, I finally got my Meus headlights in the mail. They do look amazing in the grill.. but there is a problem! Vanquish designed the cage with no room behind the headlight buckets! I will have to figure out something.

To get the headlights to fit, it looks like I will either have to find a 3d printed grille that sticks out a bit further or trim the cage behind the headlight bucket.

I posted this over in Freedom's build too, but in hopes someone wants to get nuts, I'm dying to see this implemented. Servo on the sterring wheel and another on the shifter

The headlights took a little bit of trimming to fit, pretty much so the wires wouldn't get pinched at the bottom. Turned out pretty good. I would rather a solid round light, but these will do. Eventually I'll drop a 4 Chanel in and set them to turn on and off.

As we all new they would..Vanquish is good at getting people to fork out the cash. I want to know what the "exclusive" variant was/is.

Aww man. So they took all the folks supporting their new release and gave them a mystery box, and all the late comers get to choose the one they want.

I don't think any of them look all that bad though.

But I like this livery ferrebee has the best.

No I’m pretty sure you still get a mystery box if you order the kit then you can buy the additional panels of your choice

I like the mystery. I was disappointed that I got the teal one... until it was finished. Now I am glad I got it because it looks amazing! One of these days i might try the "trucks of fortune"
